Hello there!!😃I trust that you are well…So today’s post is somewhat a continuation of my previous post on how to dress up denim jackets. I am sure by now you know that this blog is all about more dressy looks, so I thought it would be a good idea to push the envelop by dressing up what is otherwise considered a casual menswear article. LRM_EXPORT_20180530_124343.jpg

The denim jacket is a staple that every guy should have, and so is a turtle neck. When worn together, it gives a seamless casual smart look that will keep you warm and make you look a little more stylish than the average gentleman. It is something not too many  guys will pull off well. But not to be amongst them, you need a well fitting jacket that fits just right- this is because it will make it look a little more formal than a loose-fitting one.LRM_EXPORT_20180530_124254.jpg

LRM_EXPORT_20180530_124827.jpgA plain one will do, but to take it to the next level, pick a slightly rugged one like this one here, but not too distressed because it won’t look as neat- yes, this is not the same one I had for the other post.😂 LoL. For a turtle neck, settle for either a grey, black or navy blue one because these colors are very versatile- which means you will get more out of it and it is easier to style.

LRM_EXPORT_20180530_125046.jpgI paired these two basics(the denim jacket and turtle neck), with a bold pair of striped trousers which make the look pop a little more and makes the outfit stand out. You can NEVER go wrong with black pair of oxford shoes and a sock-less look to top it off. It sure isn’t easy to pull this ensemble off well, but with the tips I have shared with you in this post, you can be sure you won’t go wrong! LRM_EXPORT_20180531_125148.jpgLRM_EXPORT_20180530_124057.jpgLRM_EXPORT_20180530_124549.jpg

Be sure to let me know what you think about this look in the comments section below. If you also like the concept of getting casual pieces and dressing them up, be sure to let me know what I should try next!!
